I’m back on the vlog! Better late than never right?! In my defence, I’ve been a little bit busy. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
Back at my desk in Sydney. I did set up office at various hotels in London and Singapore over the last few weeks but had no time to take a photo. Sorry!
Where I’ve Been Blogging:
I headed over to London to attend the World Travel Market and catch up with family and friends but I did sneak in some time to eat ALL my favourite British foods in one day with Eating London. Then I popped to Singapore for a few days and discovered secret speakeasy bars, street art and a late night dessert bar (serious yum!) I’ve put together a guide for sightseeing whilst shopping in Singapore for Travelling Shopaholic. And whilst you are over there why not enter our competition to win a Longchamp tote. I’ve also been checking out more stylish things to see and do in Sydney – like freshly picked spa treatments at SpaQ.
What I’m Reading:
The Collective Hub Magazine – a superbly-designed, inspiring magazine for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs. Issue 15 featured soup-loving travel blogger Jodi from Legal Nomads.
London Eyes: Short Stories by the very talented Frankie Thompson – a compelling collection of stories about different people who call the crazy city their home.
Edible works of dessert art by Janice Wong, the genius behind 2am:dessertbar Singapore.
What’s Coming Up:
My 30th birthday (aaargh!) I’m off to celebrate in one of my all-time favourite destinations – Thailand. I’m also starting the celebrations early this weekend with a champagne brunch at The Winery in Surry Hills and a singalong at Dirty Dancing the musical, which is currently showing at Sydney’s Lyric theatre.
Have a great weekend everyone.
See ya when I’m 30!

I bloody love your blog! And love putting a voice to your face and name. Enjoy Thailand – i am so jealous. I have been looking at jetting off to Thailand for a while now (I need a health retreat me thinks) but it is more about the savings part ha (freelancing, running two blogs and about to move countries means time and funds are tight). But one day I will get there!

Aw Lucy, thanks so much for squeezing in time to visit my blog and comment inbetween everything else you do! I know that juggle all too well so it’s much appreciated. And yes I think a health retreat somewhere in Thailand is just what the doctor (me) orders. Hope you get there soon 🙂
Happy early birthday! So glad you’ve kept blogging over the years and aren’t stopping with 40 Before 30!
Aw thank you, that’s lovely to hear 🙂
Love watching these, enjoy Thailand and have a lovely birthday!
Thanks so much :)))
