Welcome to the first From Where I Work feature. The idea of these posts is to give you a little glimpse of the various locations (some glam, some not so) that myself and my favourite travel bloggers are setting up office around the globe. Our very first subject is the gorgeous Andrea from Some Kind Of Wanderlust whose pastel-hued Instagram account makes me sigh wistfully (see above and you’ll understand why).
Here she is hard at work in the Dordogne.
Andrea says:
I’m on the move a lot, and my laptop comes everywhere with me. There is always a blog post to write, photos to edit and social media to schedule, so I’ll set up office wherever I can if I have half an hour free. Recently I spent the afternoon at Chateau de la Treyne, a stunning 14th century castle, during a bloggers trip to the Dordogne Valley in France (read about it here!).
I can think of few settings more magical and inspiring than overlooking the Dordogne River on a cloudless summer day, from the terrace of a castle that looks like it belongs in a Disney film – though the setting does lend itself more to dreaming up fairytale stories than tweeting.
About Andrea:
Andrea is a writer, blogger and London correspondent for a digital city guide. She writes about her travels on her blog Some Kind of Wanderlust, and has contributed to a number of publications including Mail Online, The Huffington Post, Grazia Australia, Destination 42 and The Hotel Culture.
