This week we are in the Troodos Mountains with travel blogger Char from Taylor Hearts Travel.
Today I’m working from a beautiful boutique hotel in the Troodos Mountains. The area is often referred to as ‘The Green Heart of Cyprus‘ and it’s not hard to see why. The journey followed winding cliff edges that are lined with unbelievably tall trees. I felt like I was driving through a painting!
The hotel I’m writing today’s blog post from is the Casale Panayiotis. All of the rooms are gorgeously unique; some have spiral staircases to connect the cosy living room to the bedroom, whilst others have really spacious one-floor set-ups with stylish exposed stone walls. I’m splitting my blogging up so that I can try every part of my suite – the sunny balcony with the grape vine canopy is my favourite so far.
Tomorrow I’ll be back in the capital city, Nicosia, blogging from another hotel that I stayed in earlier in the week. Although not as modern as Casale Panayiotis, the rooms still have balconies, it’s just they overlook the palm tree fringed swimming pool. It’s not exactly a hardship! The wifi might not be as great as at home, but the sunshine and views make up for it. Plus, I always feel more inspired to write when I’m actually travelling. Ah, if only my blogging base could always be from lovely press trips.
